The German research partner Institute for sustainable Nutrition started a survey which examines efficient measurements for reducing food waste in the out-of-home catering sector. Apart from that the survey aims to identify promoting and inhibiting factors for the success of measurements. The survey is part of the first work package of the AVARE poject.The Federal Centre for Nutrition (BZfE) used its function as a communication and competence centre for nutrition in Germany to promote the survey to the general public.
